Shaliza Bacchus has a real sense of not only what is happening in York Region but also the diversity of interests in this culturally rich market. She has crafted a drive home program that engages listeners whether they are looking for news and information or pure entertainment. Her enthusiasm for and knowledge of pop culture brings a youthful voice to the station and her take on what is happening attracts listeners under 35. Through her collaboration with the 105.9 music team, she has helped showcase new and emerging artists from within York Region and brought new tracks to the airways. Shaliza appreciates the value of community building and knows first hand of the power that staying connected to where you live and work can bring so she is very proud of her role at 105.9 The Region. She is a much in demand speaker annually appearing at her alma mater, Seneca College and lending her voice and energy to fundraisers focused on building resources and services in York Region.

Guided by her visionary leadership and unrelenting drive, she transformed it into Your Community Realty, the largest independently owned Royal LePage brokerage in Canada, now with over 1,300 realtors and 12 locations across the Greater Toronto Area. This transformation was driven by Vivian's core philosophy: business is not just about profits--it's about people. Lena Guirguis is a determined entrepreneur, seasoned real estate investor, and expert in asset management. Launching her first business at the young age of 21, Lena demonstrated an early knack for innovation and development in the real estate landscape.

Her professional journey includes the co-founding of New Venture Management, a consultancy focused on business and real estate investment, promoting strong organizational structures, and streamlined workflows. Within the realm of property management, NV Property Management stands as a testament to her commitment to quality, aiming to deliver optimal returns for investors and top-tier homes for tenants.

Yet, it's with Stilettos & Hammers(TM) where Lena's passion for empowerment and education really shines. This dedicated real estate investment network supports investors at every stage, offering valuable tools, resources, and guidance. Recognizing the changing dynamics of today's work environment, Lena also co-founded Flex Space Inc., a co-working space in Richmond Hill, tailored to the unique needs of entrepreneurs and landlords across Ontario.

Lena's own real estate journey began with the acquisition of a triplex in Eastern Ontario, a venture she tackled with a buy-fix-hold strategy. By age 25, she had laid the foundation of a significant real estate portfolio. Her experience spans from multi-family residential properties to rent-to-own transactions, land severances, and fix-and-flip projects in both Ontario and the US. Central to her approach is her ability to see potential in overlooked properties, transforming them into sought-after rentals. Furthermore, her commitment to ethical business practices ensures beneficial outcomes for all involved.

As Lena expanded her horizons, she ventured into commercial investments, marking her presence across Ontario and various US states. Her success can be attributed to an effective management system, allowing for organized remote supervision of her investments.

Bahareh (Rae) Shahangian

Rae Shahangian is a business lawyer with a unique blend of compassion, insight, and leadership. Nikki Hessami

Nikki Hessami is an exceptional learner who pursued her MA in Architecture. Applying her knowledge of architecture, she uses her keen eye for sophistication and practical design to find clients the perfect home or suitable investment property. In 2018 Nikki became registered as Real Estate Agent and quickly became a leader amongst her peers. In 2021 Nikki earned her Real Estate Broker designation and her mortgage license. Nikki has helped over 95 families Buy, Sell or Invest and to date she has Sold over 78 Million in real estate. Nikki is a real estate wealth strategist who helps her clients create financial security, build generational wealth and at the same time leave a legacy to their families. Nikki applies these three core principles to her life: truthfulness, compassion and tolerance, putting the needs of her clients ahead of her own throughout the entire process.
