The Richmond Hill Business Achievement Awards, hosted by the Richmond Hill Board of Trade, is an annual initiative dedicated to honoring the accomplishments of local businesses. These awards highlight organizations that exemplify excellence, innovation, and leadership, and celebrate their invaluable contributions to the Richmond Hill community.
By recognizing businesses of all sizes and industries, the awards showcase the diverse and vibrant business landscape in Richmond Hill. Whether it’s a company’s groundbreaking innovation, community impact, or exceptional growth, the awards serve as a platform to inspire and elevate Richmond Hill’s thriving business ecosystem.
More than just an award program, the Business Achievement Awards reflect the Richmond Hill Board of Trade’s commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic environment where businesses can succeed, connect, and shine.

A business may nominate itself.

Nominees must have had a tangible business and in good standing for at least two (2) years.

Nominees must be able to demonstrate financial stability and may be asked to provide an account in good standing report from their financial institution.

Nominees must be a member of the Richmond Hill Board of Trade.

Nominees cannot have won an RHBOT Business Achievement Award within the past five (5) years.

The competition is not open to the Judges or their employers, or to members of the Award Organizing Committee or their employers. If the employer of a member of the Board of Directors is nominated, the Board member will recuse themselves from any discussion and/or vote on the recommendations of the Award Organizing Committee.

At the discretion of the judging committee, awards may be withheld in any category.

More than one award may be given out in any category.

Businesses may only submit an entry for one category. The Judges have discretion to determine the category under which the business will be judged.

Additional awards may be presented that are not listed in the categories above.
